Volunteer in Zambia

We offer places for volunteers from all over the world to come and experience Zambia and contribute to a broader understanding of the world we live in. As a volunteer, you need to be "down to earth" and have a passion to serve other people. You need to accept, that your culture is not the only one on the planet and be able to adopt to changing programs. We offer you guidance in the preparation process and professional partners to work with on the ground. To find out more, please schedule a meeting with one of our consultants, or register for one of our information meetings closest to your location.

Medical and Social Health Care

Medical Doctors, Nurses, Physiotherapists, Nutritionists, Health Care Personell and all professionals in the area of medical and social health care are welcome to participate for short or long term assignments. To come as a medical trained person, you would need to participate in a course on International Health (former Tropical Medicine), at Copenhagen University, or a corresponding course.

We are currently also working on a program that would allow nursing students to come for a 3 months exchange to Zambia, either in our home based care for the elderly program, or at public or private hospitals.

Farming and Gardening

As a volunteer for the agricultural projects, experience and education in this field is an advantage, but not a necessity to work with us. The principles of sustainable farming can be learned fast, and much on the farms is happening in cooperation with the local communities.

Children and Youth

If you want to work within the youths projects, we require a police attestation showing that you have not been convicted of child abuse. You would be working to organize pre school classes and participate in the organization and execution of the Cup of Hope.
